NEWS FROM THE LOIRE VALLEY

From here in the Loire Valley we would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year.

We are very excited about 2020 and have already made plans to increase the experiences we can offer our guests when they immerse themselves in this beautiful part of France.

But firstly, we would just like to thank all our 2019 visitors, some of whom have already re-booked to come back – it would seem good times were had by all including ourselves!
We have also had a number of successful ‘Pop Up’ events selling our French Finds back in England seeing friends and family and meeting new customers and possible guests.

Our delightful 2 bedroomed Gite is available from the beginning of April as are two of the bedrooms in our Chambre D’hote – both are situated in rural locations close to the medieval town of Chinon the jewel in the crown of the National Park and World Heritage Area.

We also have dates set aside for relaxed adventure holidays and breaks whether they are cycling, walking or wine tours with tried and tested routes for you to explore and enjoy. We specialise in bespoke holidays where our aim is to provide you with a holiday experience tailored to you. So please get in touch to discuss your ideas and we will design a holiday ideal for you.

In 2019 we hosted cyclists, walkers, Tours de France followers, fishermen, vintage car enthusiasts, Harley Davidson owners, wine lovers, landscape and portrait artists, a ceramic artist, seamstresses and passionate cooks!

Discover the Loire Valley from the saddle of a bike.

Our latest guests, a family of 4, said “It has been an opportunity for the family to engage, getting out of the car to see the sights has been amazing”

The Chinon Classic

A different type of car show, one where the cars move. Placed in the centre of Chinon on an exceptional weekend as it also coincided with Fête de la music on the Friday 21st June.

This beautiful little town nestled on the hill up from the Vienne river had a very lively weekend. Set with the back drop of the Jeanne D’Arc statue this show should be on your calendar for next year.

The part of the town that runs along the river is made in to a promenade track, allowing the cars and bikes from different times to mix. Some slow and proud others load and fast.

Next 2020 with Fête de la music on Saturday it will be there will be same buzz as this year.
